FAQs

What is the dress code for your wedding?

The wedding ceremony and reception dress code is Summer Formal. Think summer colors, florals, and outfits that bring joy. The ceremony and reception will be held on grass, so we suggest avoiding thin heels. We encourage knee length or longer dresses and a suit or suited separates for men, though we know Vermont summers can be hot and don’t expect you to stay suited up all night!

Are children welcome?

We respectfully request an adults-only celebration of dinner and dancing. We have recommendations of babysitters in Manchester/Dorset.

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?

Our reception dinner will be plated. In the RSVP, you will be asked for a dinner choice. Please note any dietary restrictions then and they will be honored all weekend.

Is there an after party on wedding night?

We will keep the party rolling on site at The Marble House with a bonfire and beverages and anyone who wants to stay up and celebrate is welcome to stay. Please be conscious of shuttle times (posted shortly) to make sure you make it home, as there is no Uber in Dorset. If you want to hang out late night, feel free to bring a casual change of clothes.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Events will be held outside and under tent on grass. Please wear appropriate footwear. The evening will end with dancing in the barn!

Is there someone I can contact if I have any other questions about the wedding?

If you are family or a friend of Allie or Colin, please reach out to them directly. If you are a friend of the families, please reach out to Julie or Nancy.

Can I bring a plus one?

Please reach out to Colin or Allie if you have a partner that was not invited.
