FAQs

What is the dress code for your wedding?

The wedding ceremony and reception are garden formal. Think summer colors, florals, and outfits that bring joy. The ceremony and reception will be held on grass, so we suggest avoiding thin heels. We encourage knee length or longer dresses and a jacket for men, though we know Vermont summers can be hot and don’t expect you to stay suited up all night!

Are children welcome?

Children of the direct family who have been invited are welcome. We please ask that children of our friends stay behind. We have recommendations of babysitting options in Manchester/Dorset.

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?

Our reception dinner will be plated. In the formal RSVP, you will be asked for a dinner choice. Please note any dietary restrictions then.

Is there an after party on wedding night?

We have exclusive access to the Marble House property for the weekend and those in the wedding party will be offered lodging on-site. We will keep the party rolling there with a bonfire and beverages, and anyone who wants to stay up and celebrate is welcome to stay. Please be conscious of shuttle times to make sure you make it home, as there is no Uber in Dorset. If you want to hang out late night, feel free to bring a casual change of clothes.

Is there someone I can contact if I have any other questions about the wedding?

If you are family or a friend of Allie or Colin, please reach out to them directly. If you are a friend of the parents, please reach out to Julie or Nancy.

Where can I RSVP?

Formal invitations and RSVP options will be sent soon. If you are positive that you can or cannot attend the wedding, feel free to let Allie or Colin know - they would love to hear from you!

Can I bring a plus one?

Invitations will be addressed to those invited. Please reach out to Colin or Allie with questions.
