Dorset is a quaint village with a bakery, country store, two historic inns and a few lovely rental houses. We recommend staying in Dorset to be within minutes of the wedding events and to enjoy small-town Vermont, though Manchester is just 10 minutes away and offers many more lodging options, grocery stores, shopping, and more. You are of course welcome to stay in Manchester if you prefer!

The Inns of Dorset Rental Homes
Two amazing vacation rentals in Dorset are available through the Inns of Dorset — Seven Springs House and Orchard Hollow. If you have a larger group and want to enjoy an extended stay in Dorset (3-night minimum), these are an amazing option. These are not blocked for us, so please book ASAP if you would like to rent either of these homes. Mention Allie & Colin’s wedding.
Airbnb
There are a few lovely Airbnb’s and vacation rentals in Dorset and Manchester. August is a very popular travel time in Vermont, and these book out very quickly. If you are hoping to secure a vacation rental, we recommend booking as soon as possible.

There are some budget friendly options and affordable motels around Manchester. Our favorite option is the Hampton Inn & Suites, located centrally in Manchester. August is a very popular time in Vermont, so please book early.
