Dorset is a quaint village with a bakery, country store, two historic inns and a few lovely rental houses. We love staying in Dorset to be within minutes of the wedding events and to enjoy small-town Vermont, though Manchester is just 10 minutes away and offers many more lodging options, grocery stores, shopping, and more. You are of course welcome to stay in Manchester if you prefer!

There are a few lovely Airbnb’s and vacation rentals in Dorset and Manchester. August is a very popular travel time in Vermont, and these book out very quickly. If you are hoping to secure a vacation rental, we recommend booking as soon as possible.

There are quite a few budget friendly options and affordable motels around Manchester. The best option is the Hampton Inn & Suites, located centrally in Manchester. August is a very popular time in Vermont, so please book early.
