Getting to Dorset

Traveling by Car

Vermont is best enjoyed with a car, as our small towns have limited to no public transportation. Those coming as a friend group or family may want to rent one car per group.

If you are staying in Manchester or Dorset, there will be transportation provided to the wedding. Times and pickup locations are to be announced.

Traveling by Plane

Albany International Airport (ALB) *recommended

The closest airport to Dorset is Albany International Airport (ALB). Albany, NY is an easy 1 hour and 20-minute drive to Dorset. We recommend renting a car or sharing one with a group. There is a bus service from Albany to Manchester, VT that leaves/returns twice per day if you are joining a group with a vehicle or are staying in Dorset and don’t want to explore further.

Burlington International Airport (BTV)

Burlington, VT is a 2 hour and 10-minute drive to drive to Dorset, VT.

Bradley International Airport (BDL)

Windsor Locks, CT is a 2 hour and 30-minute drive to drive to Dorset, VT.

Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), Newark International Airport (EWR), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), or John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

Boston and New York City are both about a 3-and-a-half-hour drive to Dorset, VT. We recommend flying into one of the smaller airports listed above if you are not travelling further around New England before or after the wedding.

Traveling by Train/Bus

Albany is accessed by AMTRAK from NYC. From the AMTRAK station, you can take a bus service to Manchester. This bus also picks up at the Albany International Airport.

Shuttles & Parking

Welcome Party

Parking is available at The Marble House. Please follow the signs to the upper field and walk down to the lower gardens via the marble stairs.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

Shuttles will be provided from the Dorset Green (“downtown”) as well as from Manchester. More information will be provided shortly. Please check back.

For those that wish to drive to the wedding, there will be parking available on-site. We please ask that there be no driving under the influence. Use the shuttle and enjoy your evening celebrating with us!
