Allie & Colin’s Story
Though both originally from Vermont, Allie and Colin met in Jackson, WY working at Orsetto, an Italian restaurant that Colin helped open.
When interviewing Allie for a job at Orsetto, Colin asked her what her favorite restaurant experience had been, to which she told him about a meal she had with her mom at a restaurant in Tuscany called La Castellana. This fall, Colin and Allie visited that restaurant together 10 years after Allie’s first visit and had a fabulous meal full of fresh truffles. Later, that week, Colin proposed in a small hilltop town in Umbria.
Allie and Colin started dating in 2020, spending the quarantine period ski touring on Teton Pass, drinking wine, and mountain biking. Their relationship continued to grow over shared loves for travel, food, wine, and adventuring in the Tetons. Allie and Colin love the life they’ve built in Jackson Hole, but share an East Coast personality that brought them together.
On any given weekend, you can find Allie and Colin hanging at their favorite spot on Jenny Lake, enjoying a margarita on the deck at home, or hiking to their favorite side-country ski zone at JHMR. Together they’ve travelled to Tuscany & Umbria, Sicily, Austria, France, Mexico, and more, and can’t wait for their ski honeymoon in the French and Italian Alps.
